Services
-
Local search across Alberta cities
Show up in the map results and organic listings of every Alberta city you genuinely serve, without inventing an office.
-
Ads planned city by city
Google and Meta budgets split by market and drive time, so Calgary prices don't swallow your Red Deer budget.
-
Out-of-area referral relationships
A written, disclosed way to hand off calls you can't reach to a firm in another Alberta city, and to receive theirs.
-
Call and job tracking by city
Separate numbers and job tags per market, so you know which city pays for its marketing and which one doesn't.
-
Second-city expansion planning
Test demand, travel cost and phone coverage before you commit trucks and ad money to a new Alberta market.
Most Alberta trades businesses don't serve one city. A Calgary electrician takes jobs in Airdrie and Chestermere, an Edmonton plumber drives to Leduc and Spruce Grove, and a Red Deer roofer gets calls from Lacombe, Red Deer County and halfway to both big cities. Alberta.Network builds marketing for that reality: one plan, split into markets, with a clear decision for each city about search, ads and who you refer work to when it's outside your range.
Why a multi-city business needs a different plan
The short answer is that each Alberta market has a different price and a different rulebook for getting found. Treating the province as one blob wastes money in Calgary and Edmonton and leaves smaller cities under-served.
Three things change from city to city:
- What a click costs. Common trade searches in the two big metros usually cost more than the same search in Lethbridge or Grande Prairie, because more companies bid on them.
- How the map results treat you. Google leans on business location for its map listings, so a company based in Sherwood Park will struggle to appear in the Red Deer map pack, however good its reviews.
- What a job is worth after travel. A $600 service call two hours away can lose money once you count windshield time, so some calls are better referred than driven.
Our services are built around those three facts, and the areas page explains how each Alberta region behaves.
What Alberta.Network does, and what it doesn't
We plan and run marketing for Alberta trades and advise owners on growth. We are not a contractor: we don't install, repair or service anything, and we never dispatch crews or take jobs from you.
The work sits in five areas:
- Local search across Alberta cities, with honest service-area setups and city pages that carry real local proof
- Ads planned city by city, with separate budgets and limits for each market
- Out-of-area referral relationships, written down and disclosed to customers
- Call and job tracking by city, so every market shows its own return
- Second-city expansion planning, for owners deciding whether to push into a new market
We don't keep a roster of member firms and we don't sell or share leads. The "network" is the one your business builds: its listings, its pages, its ad accounts and the referral partners you choose, all owned by you.
A quick check: drive or refer?
Before spending a dollar on ads in a second city, run this sum. Say your average service call is worth $650 and your gross margin is 45%, so the job leaves about $290 before overhead. If reaching that city adds three hours of travel for a two-person crew whose loaded cost is $70 per person-hour, that's $420 of travel against $290 of margin. The job loses about $130.
Now change one number. If the same trip produces a $4,000 replacement job at 35% margin, it leaves $1,400, and the $420 of travel is easy to carry. That is why we often recommend advertising only your high-value jobs in distant cities, and referring the small calls to a trusted firm that's already there. Our guide to the second-city maths works through three Alberta examples.
Proof from our HVAC work
Our published case studies are HVAC and heating results, which is where our method was built, so we present them as results from our HVAC work, not as plumbing or roofing results. GasBoilers.ca, a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat, serves 26+ BC communities from one brand, which is the same multi-community problem Alberta trades face. CanroHeat.ca recorded 250% lead growth, and BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days.
What transfers is the structure: one site with properly built pages for each community, tracked calls per market, and a review flow that keeps up with the jobs. The results page explains each case and its limits.
Where we work in Alberta
We plan the province as five regions: the Calgary region, the Edmonton region, Central Alberta around Red Deer, Southern Alberta around Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, and Northern Alberta from Grande Prairie to Fort McMurray. Each region page covers the local market, the seasonal pattern and the way we'd split a budget there.
Who's behind Alberta.Network
Alberta.Network is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It's a Canadian business headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA in Technology Management, who has worked in digital marketing for 17+ years, since 2007, and has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including albertaheating.ca. It works alongside Trades.Agency, the group's agency brand for trades businesses.
Plans start at $1,999 per month; the pricing page shows every plan. To start, call, text or email through the contact page. We usually reply within one business day.
How it works
Show us your map
Tell us which Alberta cities you serve today, which ones call you anyway, and how far your crews will actually drive. That map shapes the whole plan.
Get a city-by-city plan in writing
Each market gets its own search, ad and referral decisions, with a monthly budget per city and the numbers we will report against.
Talk it through
No forms and no sales funnel. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions
What is Alberta.Network?
Alberta.Network is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for trades and home-service businesses working across Alberta. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, runs from Vancouver, BC, and Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the work.
Is this a directory or a lead-sharing club?
No. We don't list member firms, sell leads or route jobs ourselves. We help your business build its own presence and its own written referral relationships, city by city, and you keep control of both.
Do you do any trade work?
No. We're not a contractor, and no one here installs, repairs or services equipment of any kind. Our job is the marketing and growth advice behind Alberta trades firms.
How much does it cost?
The Growth plan is $1,999 a month, dropping to $1,499 a month if you choose annual billing, and Canadian clients add 5% GST. There's no long contract: you give 30 days' notice to stop, and eligible trades firms get their first 30-minute conversation free.
Can you rank us in a city where we have no office?
Sometimes, but nobody can promise it. Google's map results lean heavily on where a business is, so in a city where you have no address we usually put more weight on organic service pages, ads and referral relationships, and we tell you that up front.
Will you meet us in Calgary or Edmonton?
Yes. We can meet in person or by video call, and also work by phone, text and email, with the same senior strategist whether you're in Medicine Hat or Fort McMurray.
